THE LOVE CLUB

This Valentine’s Day We gathered at the Love Club. inspired by the romance and rebellion of the 70’s, this multi-course dinner crafted by Kaylin Padgett of Love Child Cafe was equal parts soulful, indulgent and a little bit playful.

Hosted in the collective studio space of Local Artist, Kate Thomas, in Norfolk, VA, this dinner brought together makers, creatives, and guests for a night that was equal parts elevated and relaxed, refined but never stiff.

The tablescape was styled with a mix of disco balls, vintage candlesticks, leopard print napkins and florals from Mermaid City Flowers.

A pre-dinner oyster bar featured Matheson Oysters shucked by owners Sarah Matheson & Eric Harris.

Wine pairings were curated by Anne Cameron of In Good Co Wines featuring selections from female winemaker Samantha Sheehan's Ultraviolet Wines and Mommenpop showcasing Samantha's winemaking philosophy and techniques.

A non-alcoholic pairing was provided by Christina Kimbrough of Free Life LLC.

Whether celebrating love, friendship, or simply great food and good company, the Love Club offered guests an invitation to show up as you are, share the table, and let the night unfold.
