About the Meal

At the heart of this special day is a five-course dinner by Chef Yuan Tang of Michelin-starred Rooster & Owl — the very chef who created our first meal at Wollam Gardens in 2016. But this experience is so much more than just a meal.

Starting at 2 pm with a guided flower farm tour, you'll spend the afternoon in intentional exploration hosted by herbalist Colleen O'Bryant of love, wild botanicals & Wild Roots Apothecary to bring a little escape and creative exploration through natural dyeing, flower crown making, foraged chai tea blending, journaling spaces, and mindfulness sessions, you'll discover whimsical magic in every moment.

As the sun begins to set, we'll gather for welcome spritzes and a long table dinner featuring Chef Yuan's celebration of the land, paired with Virginia wines.

Gather, Wild is a return to our roots — to the earth beneath our feet, to the beauty that blooms when we come together, build community, and to the creativity we all hold within us.
